Welcome!

This too shall pass

Hello, fellow youths, my name is Luyanda and I welcome you to my newly launched blog.  The Bible said, "Let no man despise your youth: make your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity an example for other believers" I Timothy 4: 12. As youths, we are constantly bombarded by criticism of our peers, our generation.  Adults can be quick to classify us as lazy, saying we don't see the value of education or business - but do the youth of today really even have the opportunities that adults think we're throwing away? There are ambitious youth today who strive to learn, educate, be successful and participate in the community, but we're not allowed. You are important to God and you are important to me. Whenever you feel alone, unloved or distressed - remember that God will always be by your side. Remember that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Remember that He will fight your battles for you if you just take a moment to say a quiet or loud prayer asking him to help you. He will. If you really need someone to talk to - reach out to someone nearby - if you have no one nearby - send me a message and I will stand by you.
For the rest of us - we all have a teenager in our lives - Child, grandchild, niece, nephew, in-law, friend or acquaintance. It seems that teenagers today are becoming more troubled and depressed. School has become a bit of a battleground with secret cult members, bullies and cliques to contend with. We have to find a way to look past the attitudes. moodiness, disrespect and aloofness and encourage them and remain positive in our communication even when it seems impossible. Their struggles we sometimes minimize because they are "just kids" but to them their struggles are just as important as ours are to us.
You may not be able to encourage YOUR teen - but you may be able to encourage someone else and have someone else encourage yours. Make it a point every week to identify a teenager to reach out to. Let them know they are not alone and they are loved, valued and appreciated. Let them know they can make it and we need them to make it for WE will need THEM tomorrow.
How are you dealing with your teenager? What challenges are they facing? What tips do you have to offer?  What's ambition? The word “Ambition” means a desire for success: a strong feeling of wanting to be successful in life and achieve great things.
For me, I have got my eyes firmly on the success of youth through Christ Jesus. That life without Christ is full of crisis. Beloved, let’s come together and give each other divine wisdom, biblical counsel, tips and advice on how to succeed in our different fields as Christian youths in this 21st Century.
“Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it. The man who knows how will always have a job. The man who also knows why will always be his boss. ”
Ralph W. Emerson
